Since 2006, the Derngate auditorium has hosted over 6 million visitors, enjoying performances from drama to live music, dance, musicals and comedy. As we look to the future it is our aim to raise funds and to replace our seats as it is important to us that we continue to deliver the exceptional experience our audiences deserve.

As a not-for-profit charity, we rely not only on tickets sales, but also the continuing support of our funders and donors. The increasing costs to maintain the building for everyone’s enjoyment remains challenging as we endeavour to enhance comfort and accessibility in our auditoriums. Any contribution however large or small, would be gratefully received.

Our target is £250,000 - this will enable us to install 1,200 brand new seats in Derngate auditorium and preserve the theatre going experience for generations to come.
